José Auriemo Neto is CEO and chairman of real estate development company and owner of several upscale retail store ownership company JHSF Participacoes SA. With Neto’s guidance, JHSF has become involved in developing residential and commercial properties in Brazil for decades. José Auriemo Neto also oversees JHSF’s interests in hotels, public developments and office buildings. He has helped make JHSF among the most prominent Brazilian real estate development companies. Neto also helped to introduce brands like Jimmy Choo and Hermès to Brazilian consumers.
The work José Auriemo Neto does for JHSF in Brazil, includes administering the company’s burgeoning shopping and retail portfolio. Part of that is Cidade Jardim, a prominent shopping complex located in Säo Paulo. Neto also controls the Metrô Tucuruv, Manaus’ Ponta Negra shopping center and the Bela Vista which is located in Salvador. He is also overseeing the construction of several developments taking place in Sao Paulo, Brazil to tap into the country’s growing economic strength.
José Auriemo Neto oversaw JHSF’s first venture into Brazil’s retail market when he penned the Pucci, Hermes and Jimmy Choo brands to exclusive marketing deals in 2009. The brands then opened stores in the JHSF owned Cicade Jadrim shopping complex. This was those brands first Brazilian outlets. The Valentino brand formed a partnership with JHSF in 2012 and opened the first R.E.D. Valentino and Valentino stores in Brazil.
Neto graduated from Sao Paulo based Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado University. JHSF hired him in 1993. Four years later Auriemo Neto created JHSF’s first services department by founding Parkbem, a parking lot management company. Neto secured for JHSF the rights to develop the successful Shopping Santa Cruz in 1998. It was the first shopping destination JHSF created. José Auriemo Neto has won awards for his work in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
